Gallo was additionally charged with possession of a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeanor. All three were released with tickets for Lloyd Town Court. Wawarsing DWI: Carlos Rojas, 55, of Kerhonkson, was arrested by state police at Highland at 12:47 a.m. Friday at 7500 U.S. Route 209 in Wawarsing and was charged with drunken driving and aggravated drunken driving, both felonies. Rojas status was unavailable.

OnFriday, Longview police say a 20-year-old man was shot to death at a Twelfth street residence. Activists in Longview are saying the time for talk and meetings is over, and that action is needed to fight violent crime and save lives. “My heart just doesn’t go out to the young man that died the other day and his family, but all families, even my family, having lost a loved one to violence. We are losingpeople,” says Longview resident Brandon Johnson. Through 2015, numerous shooting scenesand sevenunsolved murders. The city devoted more patrols, and even a multi-agency task force joined in the fight against drugs and gang activity,but even law enforcement admits it’s anuphill fight. “We’d like to say we can work ourselves out of a job.
